DETAILS

These alcove shelves are essentially the same as floating oak shelves but can be supplied with discreet alcove shelf fittings. These are positioned underneath the shelf at each end and are made from the same material that the shelf is to help with blending in. Some customers paint the support brackets the same colour as their wall to help hide the brackets. An alternative is to simply order floating shelves cut to width. Brackets

Concealed brackets - These brackets take care of inaccuracy when drilling into the wall. They make installing floating shelves incredibly easy. (These brackets are recommended on all shelves less than 1300mm (130cm, 1.3m) length and width less than 250mm)

Rebar + Resin Pack - Shelves over 1300mm (130cm, 1.3m) we recommend using rebar with resin packs. This provides far greater support to the shelf. Also recommended for shelves over 250mm width as concealed bolts tend to cause sag on front edge of the wider shelves.
